Expeditions are Unscathed’s answer to idle downtime. Instead of staring at the roll button while a Lucky Potion cooldown burns, you can send Auras on Traveler-linked expeditions and return later to fragments, potions, or other rewards. This guide covers when to unlock expeditions, what to send, how they interact with gems, and how to schedule them around biomes and Destiny Potion windows.

What expeditions are for

Expeditions convert unused Aura inventory into passive materials. Community beginner routes treat them as a core early unlock after Sensei and Traveler steps — not as endgame fluff. Rewards commonly feed:

• Gem fragments for upgrades
• Potion materials or potions themselves
• Soft-currency style resources that keep Story farming moving

That loop matters because potion crafting and gem upgrades both hunger for materials. Active play alone rarely fills every bar.

Unlock path and early habits

1. Finish the tutorial chain in Getting Started
2. Talk to Traveler-style NPCs when markers appear
3. Send your first expedition with Auras you are not using in the active three-slot team
4. Set a timer so you reclaim rewards before they sit forgotten
5. Immediately reinvest fragments into your primary Luck or XP gem

Never empty your combat roster for a slightly better expedition payout. Dead runs cost more than missed fragments.

Scheduling around biomes and potions

The smart pattern looks like this:

1. Check biome via biomes and elements
2. If biome mismatches your chase, launch expeditions + Story farms
3. If biome matches, stack luck with the Luck stack planner and roll
4. After the roll window, relaunch expeditions before logging off

Destiny Potion nights should always start with expeditions already running so fragment income continues while you focus on the UI.

Expeditions and gems

Fragments from expeditions exist to upgrade gems and traits. If you collect rewards and never upgrade, expeditions become a clutter inventory loop. Upgrade one gem deeply — usually Luck for hunters or XP/Cash for story farmers — before opening a second gem project.

Multiplayer and account safety

Expeditions are a legitimate catch-up system. They are not a reason to install scripts that auto-claim or auto-send every minute. Roblox enforcement still applies. Stick to the in-game expedition UI and Discord announcements listed on community links.
